Have you ever been ready to launch into your next big creative project, but you realize that your digital storage options are at capacity? Have the freedom to always jump right into your work with Synology’s DS918+. This 4-bay expandable NAS provides a private solution to cloud data storage, by providing big data storage, expandable capacity, and easy-to-use software that make your file accessible even while on the road.

Synology has partnered with Fstoppers to giveaway a DiskStation DS918+ to one lucky winner! The theme of this contest is Irreplaceable Images; timeless family portraits, heartfelt memories with lost loved ones, awe inspiring landscapes from past adventures… whatever images you cherish and would hate to not have backed up to a reliable place.

Synology NAS comes with user friendly DiskStation Manager (DSM) software. This intuitive web based operating system is designed to help each user customize their device, guaranteeing the best possible user experience. With DSM’s Cloud Station Suite application, it’s easy to synchronize photos from your computer to your NAS. After importing photos from your camera, just toss them into a designated folder on your computer and they will automatically be uploaded to your Synology NAS. Instead of cluttering your workspace with hard drives and cables, store your data in a secure, centralized piece of hardware. Synology understands the value of adding another layer of protection, so they’ve made it easier than ever to back up everything from the DS918+ to another server or the cloud.

Whether you’re a travel photographer or an experienced amateur on the go, effortlessly sync photos to your NAS with Synology’s unique Remote Access feature. Manage files over the internet without the hassle of setting up complicated network settings.

Thinking of integrating these user friendly storage solutions at your home or business? Check out Synology’s website to learn more about their innovative professional solutions, and for more detailed information about their entire line of products.

The winner of the contest must have a physical address within the United States and Canada in order to receive their prize. Entrants are welcome to submit up to three of their best irreplaceable images. Submissions must be entered by November 12th, 2018 at 11:45 PM EST. I just read that only US residents can win. If an none US resident wins can they nominate a friends address in the Us to post it to?

There is p.o boxes services on the us to ship outside (myus for exemple ;))

You can have it shipped to any US/Canada address of your choosing.

How does one rate in this contest? As a lot of these to me could be easily replaced. Just re create them. But the ones that truely suit the subject of the competition are personal and family related, e.g. the birth of your child or your grandfather that is no longer.

omg wait a free NAS? forget my question. Heres a butterfly

The rules are vague thus open to interpretation. Some people have posted unique images that would be impossible to be recreated. Others have posted images that represent a milestone in their lives that cannot be passed a second time, whilst others have a strong emotional attachment to their image or it is just a favorited shot they do not want to lose. All could be interpreted as irreplaceable. Other have posted random images to try and win an NAS, but I can’t hold that against them. I would love to win one as well!

Moments like my premature birth would never happen EVER AND CANT BE RECREATED.
I still have struggles but I am pushing forward everyday

thanks to my dad for capturing an image of a milestone that I am alive and well today when I should have been dead

Who decide of the winner ? The number of vote or finally it will be fstoppers jury ?

An Fstoppers Jury will decide the winner.

Thanks

This is gonna be a good contest! so many great powerful photos!
