In the North East of England, we were hit by a bit of a storm in February this year, with gale force winds and a bit of snow (nothing like the US gets, but quite weird for here). I tried to get a shot of the snow that had settled on my local beach before any further snow hit. I got set up, my lens hood blew away as I tried to attach it (which I found later!) and then the snow hit. Will bad weather hit the North East of England again? Yes. It is doubtful I will catch it like this again, however.
