Fstoppers has partnered with Western Digital for a brand new contest on Product Photography. Submit your best 3 product images now for your chance to win a 1TB My Passport Wireless SSD  and a 64 GB SanDisk Extreme SD Card.

This contest is limited to those with addresses in the United States and Canada. Entrants are welcome to submit up to three of their best product images below. Submissions must be entered before June 24th, 2018 at 11:45 PM EST. 

The selections will be judged by Fstoppers staff and the winner will be chosen based on the creativey, technical execution, and overall quality of the image. We will also take into account the overall community ratings of the images so even if you dont enter, feel free to let us know which image you feel should be the winner by rating them below. Winners will be chosen and announced by June 28th and will be contacted through their Fstoppers profile to claim their prize. If you are chosen as the winner, you will need to provide an address within the United States or Canada to be receive the prize.

I'm pretty sure someone is going and voting down everyone's images. That's a shame.

Yes, that tends to happen in the contests. However, the best images still tend to filter to the top as the highest rated and the community rating only has a partial influence on the final winning image so you shouldn't worry about how many stars any image has. All the images would likely get a higher rating if they were rated directly from the portfolio rather than in this contest.

As far as i know, the best picture never been chosen based on likes or ratings of the other subscribers for any legitimate contests. It should be based on the judgment of judges who have been evaluated and choen by the sponsors.

All very good info. It's cool to see everyones works and different styles.

My thought is to multiply all contest ratings by about 1.3 to get to a somewhat real rating.

Am I the only one who can't see the rating on many portrait shots? It's cut-off at the bottom of my phone screen.
