Flowers are abundant (particularly as the weather continues to warm up), and they make for fantastic photo subjects, plus there are a ton of ways to go about shooting them. This fantastic video tutorial will show you the benefits of being willing to get low for your flower shots and the kind of images you can create.
Coming to you from Adam Gibbs, this neat video will show you how to get down low to photograph wildflowers. Just like most other genres, simply being willing to change your perspective from the standard human height we view the world at will make your photos instantly more compelling just by virtue of its uniqueness, but, of course, it can be a bit challenging on your body. A good tripod can make your life a bit easier. Furthermore, if you find it easier to work from a sitting position rather than getting all the way down to the ground, consider a camera with an articulating rear screen. This can make it a lot easier to work in a comfortable position while still allowing the freedom to get whatever perspective you want. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Gibbs.
