Inside the Collection, A Photography Live-Stream Event

Photography is less than 200 years old but has produced some amazing artists and masters of the craft in that short time.

The likes of William Eggleston and Vivian Maier are the ultimate “who’s who” of photography. Studying these great artists can certainly help to formulate your own ideas and help you figure out who to push your own photographic practice forward.

But how do you even get started figuring out who these artists are and what they’ve done? It just so happens that Dr. Lauren Richman from the Eskenazi Museum of Art at Indiana University and Zach Dobson are hosting a live stream on January 28, 2022 (11:30 am – 1:00 pm EST) in which they’ll be examining and discussing photographic prints from some of the greatest photographers throughout history!

As a student at Indiana University 20 years ago, viewing prints from my favorite photographers in person had a lasting impact on me as a young photographer. Through this event, I hope to share some of the magic of photography that stayed with me throughout my career.

This is one event not to be missed. But before you get too excited, put your wallets away! The best part is that this is a free event!

Tune in to: Inside the Collection, A Photography Live-Stream Event, Friday, January 28, 2022, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm (EST).
