It is not realistic to expect to be constantly inspired and to never have any lulls in creativity or motivation. But what do you do when the inspiration has left you? This great video examines the topic and offers some helpful advice on how you can regain your footing.
Coming to you from First Man Photography, this great video examines the topic of losing inspiration and what we can do when that happens. This can be a weird subject for creatives; it can be embarrassing or even make us feel guilty when we lose inspiration, because society tends to tell us that we are the lucky ones who do not have to put up with the mundane life of something like a 9-to-5 job. But it is not realistic to expect to feel inspired 24/7, and you should not feel guilty when you do not. Rather than piling guilt on top of already feeling uninspired and making yourself feel all the worse, it is ok to accept that you will go through periods where you just are not feeling the creative juices flowing, and there is nothing inherently wrong with that. Nonetheless, there are things you can do to make it easier to get through those times. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
