Why You Should Be out Shooting Even on the Most Boring Days

Some days are beautiful and full of vibrant color and interesting skies, while others are, well, just plain boring. However, those boring days can be the most important of all. This is why you should still be heading out with your camera, even on the least interesting days.

Coming to you from aows, this great video discusses the importance of heading out with your camera, even on boring days. No doubt, there are days that simply are not that interesting, but as the video discusses, it is easiest to take good photos of interesting subject matter. On the other hand, a photographer builds and shows off their skills by creating photos in environments where it is not as easy to do so. Personally, I think there is no such thing as bad light or good light or interesting or uninteresting skies. Rather, I think each scenario requires its own approach and lends itself to different types of photos, and we run into issues and frustration when we try to shoot photos that the environment is not conducive to. Learning to read that environment can make the experience much more enjoyable and help you come home with more keepers. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
