I shot this photo of the Carson Mansion in Eureka, CA a little while back trying to get a slightly different angle on the building since so many people do take pictures of it. What really struck me was how such an icon of Victorian Architecture was being hidden away from the public by a gate and that what I tried to capture along with the building itself with a relatively simple post processing.
