The glow being applied gives the image a painterly feel, and since it is a Bob Ross / Thomas Kinkade-esque scene, it works. However I do not think I am a fan of the exact choice of framing; the fact that it is a vertical 2:3 aspect ratio and yet still does not include the north star is a bit bothersome; I would have preferred to just crop the scene to 4:5 vertical aspect ratio, and abandon the upper portion of the image so that Polaris simply isn't missed.
