Cool picture, but what happened with the stars? Was this stacked?
Hi Shawn. It's actually a composite of two photographs, merged together in HDR software. I kind of liked the effect, but appreciate that others may not. Thanks for your comment.
Thanks for the reply. I like playing with HDR quite a bit, but have not tried stacking night pictures. I have have to give it a try.
The boats lighttrails let te pic a little bit down in my opinion, but maybe without that the water would be dull. But colors they are just amazing!
Thanks Sander. I quite liked the light trails - I thought it added to the overall photo which is about the city coming alive at night. The movement was really important.
