Local craft beer (Gananoque Brewery) can placed on black polished wood surface. Lit with three manual, off-camera flashes. One flash aimed at white board in background to create the overexposed white background, one at camera left bounced off white surface for main light and one camera left behind subject to create the shadow. All were triggered by low-powered on camera flash. I used a white paper reflector on the right as fill.

Any chance you uploaded a different picture? You wrote that you placed this on black polished wood, but the pic is on white.
