1.54 - "Needs Work" 

Cooperative Dragon Fly. I believe he is smiling for the picture. I am a month into a photography class and purchased my first DSLR (Nikon D3400) about 2 weeks ago. This was taken with the kit 18x55mm lens.

Would appreciate comments since I am so new to this.

Seems like most of the "community" isn't super into giving constructive feedback. They just want that tutorial, so don't worry too much about the star rating, it's pointless the way they have it set up, haha.

All the basics are here, nice use of DOF

It's hard to tell, but it looks like not all of the dragonfly is in focus.
Also, maybe it's just me, but the background on the left isn't really adding anything. I might prefer it if the focus was clearly on the firefly without any other distractions.

Just one person's opinion, but I hope that helps.
