Interesting idea! I think moving the leaf down in the shot a little more would have helped. I'd rather see that space on the top than split between the top and bottom. Just a thought!
Also, if possible, it would help with symmetry if the leaf was cutting right down the middle, rather than to the left, but that's just a super nit-picky thing.
