This curvy road from beneath is calles the Y Bridge. On Google Maps you will recognize its special shape. It is in the city centre of my hometown Leverkusen. Quite busy, but there are small leafy pedestrian refuge islands. I was worrying a bit as a police petrol came around and ask me what I was doing. "Ahh, I make some architectural shots!". Police: "Ok, have fun!"
The second subject in frame are the "Fluter". About 30 metres high street lights but they don't work very well. They will be teared down due to high maintaince costs.
I tried to compose the shot for the bended bridge and to include the lantern. I use a series of bracketed shots and added some gradients to give the image a more three dimensional look.
