Two months of planning and eight years of longing went into the making of this image. I used to see this abandoned bothy every time I got the train home from university and often dreamed of going there. It took me four years after graduation to finally plan my visit.

With a 2am start and a trek along the cliffs, as the sun rose, I knew I was in for a special morning.
