I've lost a few photos from either accidentally deleting folders from being half asleep to having a failed drive. A couple of my travel photos that I lost where a chance shot that you only got in that moment. Makes some photos more special because it feels like you found a gem.
I'm in Australia so I don't qualify for the prize :( Good luck everyone.
