Sadly this barn and tree were destroyed during hurricane Florence (the tree fell on the barn). This use to be at the entrance to my family's neighborhood. For those of us that lived on Mt. Pleasant Rd this old barn and tree were a staple of the area. It was such a comforting site to come home to. I was heart broken when I came home to help clean up after the storm and saw the huge oak tree toppled over on the barn. I would be more heart broken if I lost this picture.
