Definitely some potential of this shot. I'm sure your family will cherish the memories. Side question... I noticed some odd magenta artifacts in the upper left corner of your sky. What causes that? Is it the camera, lens, or editing?
I have no idea. I need to revisit the raw file to figure it out. Good eye and thank you for pointing that ugly mess out.
