The light kid looking at you (& the audience) with everyone else in black looking away is what makes this photo - I just wish the composition was more compelling. Everything on the right is distracting my eyes and doesn't add to the feeling the photo gives me.
I played with the crop to cut out the right hand side, but I didn't have a copy on hand to do the upload, and I didn't feel I landed the crop right anyways.
I usually avoid taking photographs of children, to avoid that conversation "why you're taking the picture of my kid", but this is pretty much the exception of the rule.
I've also burnt in quite a few parts, and some of the patrons. But looking back, the Beavertails sign is definitely distracting.
Still a great shot, well done!
