Why not do some global adjustments on this? Bring the exposure and shadows up a bit?
Maybe, because this is a contest about unedited photos?
Well except partick mentioned shadows...i personal interpret the contest to be can you get a profile worthy image without photoshop. i’d either crop or pull up the shadows or have used a different focal length when capturing to really pull focus on to whats lite (or maybe even do some light painting during capture)
For me, this looks unedited and therefore I appreciate the beauty in this shot.
