Sunset at Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland. Probably one of the most photographed castles in Scotland but I am very happy with how this shot turned out. Especially since I left Skye early to catch this on my way home.

I can see where you painted around the castle
Thats from shadow recovery which has been covered as ok under this. nothing has been added or removed from the image. Only level adjustments. But yes you are right the castle was in strong shadow so it was heavily recovered resulting in the halo effect.
