This photo was shot at a closed national park in Canada for Valentine's Day. It's home to some of the fastest and highest tides in the world. They scoped out the area 2 weeks prior and it was still sandy, with hints of snow on the surrounding rocks. The day we finally got out to shoot, the tide went out and it was so cold, everything froze. The backlighting is shooting only partially into the camera and the diffused sunset is solely lighting the couple. Everything in the image is there, the light is illuminating the snow and no snow overlays were used. Hope you enjoy!

If this is all in camera, that is wild! If you haven’t said that I would have thought you went crazy in photoshop. You should have submitted this to the “out of camera/unedited” competition a couple contests back.

Yeah, I wasn't submitting anything at that point! Yes, everything here is out of camera, no overlay's and only colouring in Lightroom! Thanks!
