This vehicle, Challenger 2, set the land speed record for a piston powered car, with an average speed of 448.757 mph over 2 runs, and a top speed exceeding 450 mph. This image was taken a few hours after the land speed record was broken by Challenger 2.

I would love to see the color version as well. The blue would really pop.
Yes, it was a toss up. On one hand the blue really pops, especially in contrast to the flag. However, there was allot of smoke from a nearby fire, so there was little contrast between the foreground and back ground. Ultimately I chose to go with black and white, which is certainly rare for me.
