Maybe try to add focus on your product by darkening the surrounding?
I did, but the notepad will become too dark to show the sketch
I agree that you need something else to separate the product a bit, the sketch is in focus this way. Also, it doesn't look perfectly sharp, and for this type of product photography you might want to try focus stacking.
