This is a photograph of my dog, a young golden retriever, as lies on a carpet. I used a speed light with an amber cover to create the sharpness and the dark shadows. I pulled down the shadows in Adobe Photoshop because my intent was to draw attention to her eye and the highlights. Shot with an 85mm lens.

I feel the image could do with being a little brighter, to bring out some of the detail in the shadows, otherwise it's a good image
Thank you. I decided to burn some of the highlights to draw attention to the eye and the edge lighting. I appreciate your feedback and will bring back the shadows a little.
