I know, I stand no chance of winning this contest by far, but I went out and tried to shoot a car for the first time. Would love to hear your opinion about the editing and the placement. :)

Emanuel, I think you did an excellent job for your first attempt at photographing a car. I feel like you had a solid plan in your shoot. Golden hour is always your friend in finding pleasing light for your subject.

Something that could help next time is to explore different angles and perspectives. Right now, it looks like it has been taken at the average height. Placement of the car can make huge differences in your composition. I would have liked to see the car entirely on asphalt to the right. That would have gotten rid of some of the weeds on the left and may have reduced some of the reflections in the glass.

Unless you're focusing on highlighting the tire tread, in most cases, you want to "open" the wheel towards the viewer by turning the steering wheel to the passenger side to show the face of the wheel, in this case.

Again, you did an excellent job on your first outing, Emanuel!

Hey jesse, thank you very much for this nice comment and the great tips, I will try to do my best the nice time and use some of your tips! :)
