Hills Hoist. I was aiming for a very retro feel with this. The processing was trying to make it look like a blue toned film. The hard light with the shadow of the photographer (me) feels like one of those awesome timeless Hollywood shots of people on the streets, and yet with an Australian twist as the Hills Hoist washing line is iconicly a part of our nations history. This photo envokes childhood, hot summers days spent lazing on the cool grass, occasionally batting away a fly and watching your mother hanging out wet sheets.

Sorry, I don't get how it relates to this week's theme... Is it the grass? (Though the grass isn't the subject...)
To me grass is foliage 😊 I geuss it depends on your definition.
Also my vision is that the grass is a very crucial part of the photo. This photo transports me back several years to lazy hot afternoons lying on the grass.
Thanks for the reply and clarifications.
