I took these Photos a few days apart and composed them together. I left the set in the studio with the flower in it to get the same perspective and lighting on the photos.
I chose the background to give it a shoolbook-look.

I appreciate the thought and care going into this and love the result. I'm always a bit trepidatious about how to rank submissions that blur the line of "photography" and 'digital art' ... but I really like the outcome here and could definitely see it in a publication.

normally it is not really my style to exchange the background completely, but for the concept i was going for it seemed like the best option.
Since it is not purely photography you could say it is kind of digital art, but with the photos still being the main point i hope it still has a place in this contest.
i believe it does and especially more than photos that make an insect the focus :)
