Submit Your Best Photos Of Plants

I took this image at a place close to my hometown, which is Heidelberg in Germany, where one can find a bunch of redwood trees. I love these trees and the place as a whole and come there quite regularly to try to find new compositions. At the time of this picture, all the leaves were already turning yellow and red, which just looked just awesome. So I tried to capture the colours, but also to put some emphasis on the tree roots. The original picture is a panoramic combination of several pictures, because I intend to print this quite big for my living room wall.
