2.42 - "Needs Work" 

I found this small and charming spot just a ten minutes walk from my flat. It was quite a surprise to find it during late summer, with only one small flower left blooming. I did this capture but decided to come back again and try different angles and time of day. I never found this flower blooming again, so this is my only picture of it. It's a focus-stacked vertorama.

This could have been a word class image with single flower there but the something about the hazy editing seems to lower the quality of the image overall so it's a 3 from me.

Thank you for your feedback, Angela. I agree it's far from "world class". To me it was more like a prove of concept - I was photographing a new place and trying new technique. I'm pretty happy with the outcome, although I don't even consider this a portfolio shot. I made a second edit where I patched all the wholes in the leaves, but not much else has changed. And thanks for your generous rating. :)
