This is one of my favorite places to photograph as the sands and the views are always changing. The Point on Emerald Isle, North Carolina where the ocean meets the Intracoastal waterway offers some spectacular views and at times rough waters and interesting wildlife. I think this photo technically meets the requirements for the contests as the dunes are covered in American Beachgrass.
