I was working backstage at the Long Center in Austin for a musical theater award ceremony. I parked myself opposite a spotlight and captured performers entering and exiting the stage. This shot of an actress preparing herself for her big number seemed to exist much longer than the shutter speed chosen. She was frozen in time and the blue gelled spotlight added to the composition.
