I like the pose and it's nicely lit- the subject looks great. The light switch must be cloned out, and the door in the background is a little distracting as is the ceiling light at top right. Having looked at your portfolio where there are some remarkable photos I think you could have done better on this shot.
thanks for the insightful critique...I don't normally shoot senior portraits so I just submitted what I had.
I definitely agree with you though that I could have done better but given the impromptu nature of the shoot and location (middle school) I was just glad that the subject looked good and they liked it.
