I so want this to be a 4-star shot. I gave you a three. There is something going on with the focus/blur on the guitar near the tuning keys (I think that is what they are called.)
I see what you mean. Shot was taken at a fairly wide angle with a zoom lens and part of it may be distortion from being a bit closer to the camera (nothing in post was done). Also though I had noticed as he played that his fingers were -not sure what to call it- somewhat articulated and nimble in a way that I hadn't seen in other guitar players. He's quite good, the best I have ever seen in person.
Solid environmental portrait. Would have preferred a portrait of him playing the guitar rather than looking at the camera.
