Rituals are in the centre of everything we do, this is the way we live and how the human generation will continue. It is our responsibility to pass on our culture and all the rituals to the next generation so that it can live for many more years to come. This was shot in a small town of Karnataka, Shravanabelagola, where thousands of devotees especially from Jain religion come every month to offer their prayers to Lord Bahubhali. At this time the prist was offering kumkma water (red) right onto the idol feet, a memorable moment. This image also reminds that even though devotees come and go, the ritual has to continue day in day out and the priest is the one who sacrifices and live his life serving the almighty.
