Hi Josh. First of let me say I’m not a top photographer by any means, but this is a contest so thought I would comment with what I think is constructive critique as I voted low.

Composition:
The shot doesn’t lead my eye to any specific subject or focus. This can make it feel like quite a straight forward plain image. Although the subject (I’m presuming) is the architecture of the ruin itself, it perhaps would have been a better option to highlight the ruin from a different angle and draw the eye to a certain detail, you can then decide on where to build up the image from there. I’m not sure how advanced you are with the post production (editing) side of photography, but I would suggest when taking shots of buildings/architecture that you look at your vertical lines - this shot seems to be slightly shooting upwards, and that can sometimes work creatively but in this case, I think you would be better off straightening them up.

Lighting:
This was taken at a time of day where the light is harsh and this can cause quite strong shadows and highlights. A suggestion could be that you wait until golden hour to perhaps create a softer more interesting light, this can add more interest to the image.

Focus point:
Can I ask where you focussed when you took the image? Now it may be just a low res image when I’m viewing this on my phone, but I’m not sure it’s as sharp as it could be. Perhaps if you post the camera settings (if you’re happy too), as it may be that these could have been adjusted at the time of shooting?

As I said above, I don’t want this to come across as I know everything! Most of us on here will always be learning, I just wanted to be constructive rather than just skipping past after voting and hopefully, if we all look constructively, we can all improve! :-) I’m sure others have different feedback but this is mine.
Have a good day and keep shooting 👍
