Your portfolio states, "I like to travel and photograph non-touristic life, how local people live, gather and communicate." That is a great way to travel and photograph. But if I go to Huay Xai I want to see something unique to their lifestyle, not something common to my lifestyle that might be unique to them, like moving a refrigerator. I'm sure that is why you have received one star votes.
Good point, maybe it will help to know that these pictures are part of a small essay on the port. To me was interesting -not unusual- that Laothian cross the River to Thailand to buy household goods. Thank you!
I got a question: where do you live that transporting a refrigerator crossing the Mekong in a boat is "common to your life style"?
Thank you!
