Is the person doing a "kick the heels" jump for joy? It's quite dark and, on most screens we're probably using, quite hard to tell, so I unfortunately just find it somewhat puzzling.
Thanks for taking the time to give some feedback. It looks right, or at least how I intended it to, on my various devices like ipads phones and computers. And it is a kick the heals shot, for sure. Perhaps a crop in would have helped.
I understand and like the idea of the "kick the heels" jump for joy and I like the idea of the single light isolating the subject and the leading lines of the posts. I even like the movement in the subject. I think the photo has a great feel to it. But yes, it needs to be closer. I still gave it three stars as compared to the photos in the contest.
