Ocean of skirts. This picture was taken from above the stage, on a performance of the Beijing Dance Academy. I tried to capture the energy of the movements, so the viewer can have the sensation of the flow and see the skirts as brush strokes.

This is really wonderful. Nice subtle colors, a fine sense of movement, and the overhead composition (without being another drone shot) is very pleasing.
I like the shot but I think most of the aesthetics came from the dance company.
Haha, of course, just like when you work with a great model. My part was only to find the good angle and the good timing. By the way I was their teacher, so somewhere the credit for their aestetics also comes back to me. :)
