This was an experimental photo shoot I did about a month ago inspired by The Matrix and various music videos. My best friend (pictured in the photograph) and I had the idea to make a photo set by using reflective mylar and attaching it to 8ft x 4ft foam insulation boards from home depot (the mylar came in a 5ft x 50ft roll that was about $35, and the insulation boards were $12 each). In the past I had helped another friend of mine make a giant kaleidoscope using reflective mylar and PVC pipe, so I figured mylar would be a great material to get an interesting reflective effect for this shoot. I used two Neewer C300 strobes with blue and pink color gels over them to get the color effect. The camera used was the original Canon 5D, with a Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens attached set to f/11, 1/160th sec, ISO 100.

Congratulations to the winners!
Love the reflections of his face, nice concept as well
I love the shot but i dont see it in the "Technology" category
I respect your opinion. I see elements of Neo Tokyo and The Matrix, for example the scene in The Matrix when Neo touches the mirror, and to me those things definitely fall under the category of technology.
The beauty of art is that it is subjective. Not everyone will love your work but others will. In my opinion, this shows creativity. Love the colors also.
I love the photo, but not sure how it fits the topic.
Respectfully, I disagree.
This is literally a perfect image, yet it gets a 2.97? I hate these contests and this is a perfect example of why.
