This Long-tailed Sylph was photographed in the cloud forests of Ecuador! While I was able to get a few images of him in flight, I found that this image was able to capture the impact of his long bright blue tail more than the other images. I wish that the tip of the tail wasn't obstructed, but hey... thats the jungle for ya. ha! Hope you enjoy it! Taken on a Canon 6d with a Sigma 120-300 2.8 DG OSM at f/4.0 at 300mm.
