2.13 - "Needs Work"

This shot was taken in Santorini last fall. I don't often do run and gun with a 16 - 35, that's what my 24 - 70 is for, but I had just finished some landscapes in Thira, looking towards Imerovigli and Oai when I was walking and came across this boat. I took a couple shots just because I thought it was interesting there was a boat on top of a roof... I didn't actually take the shot with a specific edit in mind. When I got it home I opened it and I thought it might actually look really cool with a super punchy, film like edit. I worked it a bit in Lightroom until I found something I thought looked pretty cool. Hope you enjoy!

Love the film edit feel!

This shot is super cool, but I think in the critique they might say "it's like two pictures competing for the same space".

Is it a landscape or an old derelict boat? If you can get back to this spot I think you can maybe find some other angles to really make the boat the subject. (There's also the weird Star Wars R2D2 camera pointing at the boat from that tower lol).

I think those white buildings in the top right unfortunately distract too. But I've spent about 3 minutes on this image looking at it so it's definitely got interest! Sweet spot.
