Desert Palisades Guardhouse, located in Palm Springs, CA. I shot this in the late afternoon just before the sun was lost behind the San Jacinto peak. This was shot with a Nikon D810 with the 24-70 2.8vr. I'm a big fan of this new development of custom homes that have a contemporary take on the iconic midcentury modern style that is synonymous with Palm Springs. I blended two exposures to recover some shadow detail.
