This is an actor friend of mine. I was doing some head shots for his website. I liked this photo as it doesn't look entirely like him. I like photos of people that have a character unlike we are used to seeing. I think that we (or maybe it's just me) get fixed in the way we see people we think we know. Portraits that don't look like the subject looks on a 'regular' basis can give a different perspective on that person which can allow us (me) to see each person outside of our (my) preconceptions.
