I made a set of “blinds” by cutting strips into a large cardboard box side and placed it between my light and model. I used a single reflector on that light. The fireplace light was also a reflector that was replaced in post. I really was looking for the 1940s film noir vibe with this. I wanted the model to represent the dangerous woman who is both villain and seductress to the hero.
