This cow is at a friend's dairy and I can tell you it absolutely does not like being in the barn. Although it actually doesn't have a name, just a number (30), I call it Mad Cow. The family does not name their cows as this is their sole business and they do not want to get attached to any of their animals, knowing the ending of these fine creatures. As another farmer friend puts it, "They have years of a blissful life, punctuated by an instant of misery."
