This was taken at a group shoot I hosted to teach photographers about “noir” style lighting. We used 3 lights in this. One light was a large octobox that was used to bathe the set in a soft fill light. We then had reflectors with grids pointed at each model crossing in the middle. This allowed for 2 different directional lights that also spilled onto the other model to fill in the shadows on their bodies.
