I’ve always had a fascination with the old 1930s/1940s Hollywood portraits. Hurrell is a built inspiration of mine when shooting black and white portraits. I used an overhead octobox as my main light and added a “fireplace” highlight that was later replaced with fire in photoshop. I also used a snoot to highlight her face.
