The battle Within [self portrait]
Trying to describe what depression is can be very difficult. Your world can seem perfect to others, and it probably is, but within your mind reality becomes distorted. The battle is with yourself. I have tried several times to make the battle visible to others. I have taken two photos of myself and blended and adjusted them to try to express this.
