Light from this image came from a glass door in an otherwise dark warehouse space that we converted to a photo studio to shoot evening and bridal catalogs. The intent was for the set to be lit by strobe for the next day's shooting, but I saw the shaft of afternoon light come across the set and had my model and client indulge me for a few minutes while I moved this striking model into place to take advantage of this stray light beam. Her icy stare and the sharp angle of the light give it a mysterious mood.
